Justin
Willis
justin@nuancesalon.net
Master
Stylist
|
| Starting
with Vidal Sassoon in 1971 as an assistant, Justin assisted
for 15 months then started as a stylist cutting such people
as Mary Quant, Vanessa Redgrave, & Julie Christie to name
a few. In 1978 Justin was transferred to Atlanta, GA to open
the first Sassoon Salon. After 3 months in GA, preparing most
of the models for opening shows, Justin was again transferred
to San Francisco where he became Art Director on shows like
Good Morning America / San Francisco, working alongside Vidal
himself. After 3 years in California, Justin decided to return
to Atlanta. Inspired by the growth of the city & the desire
to bring creative hair-cutting to the south, Justin opened
his first salon called “Blades” in 1980 located
in the heart of Buckhead, followed by a second “Blades”
a few years later in Roswell. In 1996, Justin sold “Blades”
and then opened “Salon Solo”.
Justin
feels that working for Vidal Sassoon was the best 10 years
of his life. It has been an honor to have worked with the
likes of Trevor Sorbie, Christopher Brooker, Carolyn Hayes
& many incredibly gifted, talented, beautiful people.
These wonderful memories will be with him always.

| I'm originally from Wisconsin. Having a passion for art and being creative, led me to hair design. I graduated from the Aveda Institute, Erik of Norway, in Milwaukee. I relocated to Atlanta in 1993 and started working at a local hair salon in Roswell. It was a great experience, the exposure has helped me to establish my clientele base in which most are still with me today. I have over 20 years of experience as a hair stylist and color specialist. I enjoy making my clients look and feel great! Working at the innovative Nuance Salon with a wonderful team of professionals has enabled me to grow and be inspired.
My family is the most important thing to me. My husband, Frank, is a great husband and devoted father. Our son, Tyler, is 6 years old and the joy of our lives! I love spending time with my family and friends.

Jonathan
Charles moved to the Atlanta area in 2001 from Denver, Colorado,
bringing with him a wide array of experience with 20 years+
in the beauty industry.
His career
started out in 1986 after completing an apprenticeship with
the well respected Gene Juarez Salons in Seattle, Washington,
where he worked for the next five years building his skills
both behind the chair and assisting the salon's artistic team.
In 1991,
his move to Denver brought many new opportunities and exposure
to more advanced education and new philosophies. Valuable
experience as both an Aveda educator and a Toni & Guy
ambassador only broadened his experience and thirst for knowledge
which lead him to several studies at Vidal Sassoon in both
Toronto and Los Angeles.
In 2001,
Jonathan with his wife and daughter, moved to Atlanta to raise
their daughter near family. His first three years in Atlanta
were spent in Buckhead, working for color expert, Michael
Burton, in his salon. Working with Michael was truly a blessed
experience. His eye for color transformed and advanced Jonathan's
color skills ten fold. My hat's off to Michael Burton, a true
artist.
Jonathan
now enjoys working with a terrific group of artists at Nuance
Salon. Each offering an amazing array of talent that he can
learn from.
Outside
the Salon, Jonathan enjoys art, music, friends and good food.
Most importantly, traveling with his wife, Lori, and daughter,
Ali, exposing her to the wonders of the world. |
