Justin

Justin Willis
justin@nuancesalon.net

Master Stylist

Starting with Vidal Sassoon in 1971 as an assistant, Justin assisted for 15 months then started as a stylist cutting such people as Mary Quant, Vanessa Redgrave, & Julie Christie to name a few. In 1978 Justin was transferred to Atlanta, GA to open the first Sassoon Salon. After 3 months in GA, preparing most of the models for opening shows, Justin was again transferred to San Francisco where he became Art Director on shows like Good Morning America / San Francisco, working alongside Vidal himself. After 3 years in California, Justin decided to return to Atlanta. Inspired by the growth of the city & the desire to bring creative hair-cutting to the south, Justin opened his first salon called “Blades” in 1980 located in the heart of Buckhead, followed by a second “Blades” a few years later in Roswell. In 1996, Justin sold “Blades” and then opened “Salon Solo”.

Justin feels that working for Vidal Sassoon was the best 10 years of his life. It has been an honor to have worked with the likes of Trevor Sorbie, Christopher Brooker, Carolyn Hayes & many incredibly gifted, talented, beautiful people. These wonderful memories will be with him always.

After three years, Mario decided to branch out and look for a job outside of his parent’s world. He finished an eighteen month course in eleven months at Leon’s Institute in Stanford, Connecticut. While at school, Mario won an award in a Student Competition for the state of Connecticut. Since graduating from school, Mario has owned several salons. Andrea

Master Stylist

Originally from Wisconsin, I moved to Gainesville, Florida, where I received my cosmetology license in 1985. I stayed in Gainesville for 4 years and worked at Ian and Company; a popular college salon. Then I moved to Boynton Beach, Florida, where I worked at the Great American Hair Experience for 6 1/2 years. I moved to Atlanta in 1995 and have worked in the East Cobb area for 11 1/2 years.

Linda Sinclair and I met in a well known, East Cobb Hair Salon about 10 years ago and have worked together ever since. I joined Linda at Nuance Salon about 5 weeks after she had opened. I am very excited to be a part of the Nuance Salon styling team. The Historic Roswell Square is a very appealing location to work.

Specializing in hair color and highlighting, I have been using the Schwartzkopf color line for several years. I enjoy creating formal hairstyles for weddings, proms and special occasions. Living just 5 minutes from the square, I love my 21 year career of styling hair and enjoy raising my 2 teenage children!

Master Stylist

I'm originally from Wisconsin. Having a passion for art and being creative, led me to hair design. I graduated from the Aveda Institute, Erik of Norway, in Milwaukee. I relocated to Atlanta in 1993 and started working at a local hair salon in Roswell. It was a great experience, the exposure has helped me to establish my clientele base in which most are still with me today. I have over 20 years of experience as a hair stylist and color specialist. I enjoy making my clients look and feel great! Working at the innovative Nuance Salon with a wonderful team of professionals has enabled me to grow and be inspired.

My family is the most important thing to me. My husband, Frank, is a great husband and devoted father. Our son, Tyler, is 6 years old and the joy of our lives! I love spending time with my family and friends.

Jonathan

Jonathan

jonathan@nuancesalon.net

Master Stylist

Jonathan Charles moved to the Atlanta area in 2001 from Denver, Colorado, bringing with him a wide array of experience with 20 years+ in the beauty industry.

His career started out in 1986 after completing an apprenticeship with the well respected Gene Juarez Salons in Seattle, Washington, where he worked for the next five years building his skills both behind the chair and assisting the salon's artistic team.

In 1991, his move to Denver brought many new opportunities and exposure to more advanced education and new philosophies. Valuable experience as both an Aveda educator and a Toni & Guy ambassador only broadened his experience and thirst for knowledge which lead him to several studies at Vidal Sassoon in both Toronto and Los Angeles.

In 2001, Jonathan with his wife and daughter, moved to Atlanta to raise their daughter near family. His first three years in Atlanta were spent in Buckhead, working for color expert, Michael Burton, in his salon. Working with Michael was truly a blessed experience. His eye for color transformed and advanced Jonathan's color skills ten fold. My hat's off to Michael Burton, a true artist.

Jonathan now enjoys working with a terrific group of artists at Nuance Salon. Each offering an amazing array of talent that he can learn from.

Outside the Salon, Jonathan enjoys art, music, friends and good food. Most importantly, traveling with his wife, Lori, and daughter, Ali, exposing her to the wonders of the world.
